What We Believe

1. The Scriptures Inspired
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings. The complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and conduct.      2 Tim.3:15 -17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12

2. The One True God
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10,11; I Tim. 2:5; I Cor. 8:4; Matt. 28:19.

3. The Lord Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His
sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His personal return in power and glory. Jn. 1:1; Jn. 1:18; Heb. 1:8; Tit. 2:13; I Jn. 5:20; I Cor. 15:3, 4.

4. Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person in the triune Godhead. By His
indwelling the believer is enabled and empower for godly living and service. Tit. 3:5; Gal. 5:22, 23; I Thess. 5:23, 24.

5. Fall of Man

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost. His only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God.

6. The Salvation of Man
The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice for all people and all who trust Him are saved by grace through faith on the grounds of His shed blood, accepted in the beloved, kept by God’s power. (John 1:12; 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1,38-39; 1 Corinthians 1:4-8; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:5,18-19)

7. Ordinances
The Lord Jesus Christ established two ordinances for the Church in
this present age. These are believer’s water baptism, practiced by immersion, and the Lord’s Supper, observed as a memorial of His death. (Acts 8:12, 35-39; 10:47-48; 1 Corinthians 1:14; 11:23-34)

8. Divine Healing
God hears and answers prayer in accord with His own will for healing
of the sick and afflicted. (John 14:13-14; 15:7; 1 John 5:14-15)

9. The Blessed Hope
The Resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and the translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is imminent and is the blessed hope of the church. 1 Thes. 4:16, 18; Matt. 8:18; James 5:14.
